We never sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties.

Email us to delete your account and all associated data within 7 days.

1. Data We Collect

Identity: Full name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender.

Location: District and constituency within TAMILNADU for regional coordination.

Member Profile: Party wing preference, skills, and availability schedule.

Optional: Blood group, occupation, and residential address — collected only if voluntarily provided.

Account: Hashed (bcrypt) password. We never store your password in plain text.

2. How We Use Your Data

Provisional Membership: To generate your official TNCJP Member ID card with a unique Member ID.

Communication: To send OTP verification emails and important party announcements.

Coordination: To assign you to local district/constituency teams based on your location.

Wing Allocation: To route you to the correct party wing based on your skills and preference.

Analytics: Aggregate (non-personal) statistics to track party growth across TAMILNADU.

3. Data Security

Encryption at Rest: Personal fields (name, phone, email, DOB, address) are encrypted with Data (Fernet) before storage.

Passwords: Stored as bcrypt hashes — irreversible. Even our admins cannot read your password.

Tokens: JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens (60 min) and refresh tokens.

OTP: Time-limited (10 min) one-time passwords for email verification. Invalid after use.

Transport: All API communication is over HTTPS/TLS in production.

5. Your Rights

Access: You can view your full profile at any time from the Dashboard.

Correction: You can update your profile information from the Dashboard settings.

Deletion: You can request account deletion by emailing tncjpo@gmail.com. We will process it within 7 days.

Data Export: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us at tncjpo@gmail.com.

Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw Provisional Membership at any time by requesting account deletion.

6. Data Retention

Active Accounts: Retained for as long as you are a TNCJP member.

Deleted Accounts: Personal data is purged within 30 days of deletion request.

OTP Records: OTP records are retained for 30 days for security audit, then auto-deleted.

Logs: Server access logs (no personal data) are retained for 90 days.

7. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this portal are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in TAMILNADU, India. This policy is aligned with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008.

We will respond within 3 business days and fulfil data deletion requests within 7 days.

Policy Updates: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to all registered members. Continued use of the portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
